i dont remember which philophoser it was, methinks aristotle or plato, but they said something about dogs being less than human and therefore they can only be happy blindly; perhaps babies, with the same blind love are less evolved than humans.
The only thing evolved about loving blindly, is that you give energy so freely that people dont have a choice about iving it back.
Studies show that cats reduce the chances of a heart atttack.
